The field grey finish was applied (remaining 70% intact) and a pair of Third Reich decals were added. The army decal remains and checks in at 70% intact. At some point, the tri color shield was removed but you can clearly see where it once was. Also part of the reissue was the addition of the new Model 1931 liner system. In this case, a size stamped 57 brown leather liner was used along with a reinforced aluminum liner band. The liner remains in good condition with minor wear and discoloration. The liner band is maker marked, dated 1939 and size stamped 64/57. The side of the interior is simply stamped 64. There is also a drawstring. A good example of this type!
