Solid citrulline dose, Nitrosigine boost, moderate energy, full workout support.

Black Magic BZRK Overdrive is like a well-rounded pre-workout buddy: decent stim kick, real pump help, solid strength ingredients, and some brain boosters that make it more than your average caffeine bomb. At the full 2-scoop dose, you get 7.714g L-citrulline, 4.286g creatine monohydrate, 2.571g GlycerPump, 2.143g betaine anhydrous, 2g BCAAs in a 2:1:1 ratio with 1g leucine leading, 1.286g tyrosine, 857mg agmatine sulfate, 750mg Nitrosigine, 429mg kanna, 400mg lion's mane mushroom, plus 186.5mg total caffeine. This setup is all about making your whole workout better, not just a quick rush.

L-citrulline anchors the pump. It boosts arginine levels better than taking arginine straight, which helps with nitric oxide—that's what widens blood vessels for better flow and nutrient delivery. Studies show it helps with blood pressure and workout performance at doses around 3-8g. At 7.714g, this hits that sweet spot hard, so it'll feel way better than those skimpy 3-4g doses in other pre-workouts.

Nitrosigine at 750mg adds a patented twist—inositol-stabilized arginine silicate that keeps arginine levels up and supports blood vessel health. It's not just filler; it gives a longer-lasting pump feel. Team it with 2.571g GlycerPump, a high-quality glycerol powder, and you get vasodilation from citrulline and Nitrosigine, plus water retention in muscles for that full, hard pump.

For performance, 4.286g creatine monohydrate is a winner. Creatine boosts phosphocreatine

Black Magic BZRK OD by Black Magic Supply contains 585mcg Vitamin A, a effective dose for training performance and pump.

Key Highlights

  • 7,714mg L-Citrulline per 2 scoops — that's a real pump dose you can feel, not just window dressing. Citrulline turns into arginine efficiently, kicking up nitric oxide for better blood flow and workouts that feel fuller and stronger.
  • 750mg Nitrosigine® — this patented inositol arginine silicate adds another layer to nitric oxide support. Instead of one pump player, it pairs with citrulline for longer-lasting vascular help that you notice in the gym.
  • 2,571mg GlycerPump® — a branded glycerol for better hydration and performance. You'll feel it as denser muscles and improved hydration during training, especially if you're drinking enough water.
  • 4,286mg Creatine Monohydrate — a dose that actually counts every day. It helps refill phosphocreatine for quick energy bursts, leading to better reps, more work done, and stronger gains over time.
  • 2,143mg Betaine Anhydrous — right around the 2.5g mark you see in studies for power and output. It helps with cell balance and strength, linking the pump and power sides nicely.
  • 1,286mg L-Tyrosine — a hefty dose for focus in a moderate-stim setup. Tyrosine aids in making brain chemicals during stress, keeping your drive and concentration up when things get tough.
  • 429mg Kanna — a unique mood booster in pre-workouts. It makes the session feel smoother and more positive, less jittery than straight caffeine bombs.
  • 400mg Lion's Mane Mushroom Powder from fruiting body — a smart add for brain support. It's not the star, but it backs up the focus vibe instead of this being another boring stim mix.

Black Magic BZRK OD by Black Magic Supply contains 585mcg Vitamin A, a effective dose for training performance and pump.

Who Is This For?

  • Bodybuilders hunting pump, better contractions, and dense sessions. 7.714g L-citrulline, 750mg Nitrosigine, and 2.571g GlycerPump deliver full muscles, flow, and mind-muscle link in volume work.
  • Strength-size folks needing more than a caffeine jolt for compounds and extras. 4.286g creatine monohydrate and 2.143g betaine anhydrous boost energy turnover, power, and set stamina with moderate 186.5mg caffeine.
  • Late-day trainers wanting a usable pre. 186.5mg caffeine is manageable, plus tyrosine, kanna, and lion's mane for focus without overload.
  • Seasoned lifters done with blends, wanting to check doses against real info. Open label shows exact citrulline, creatine, glycerol, betaine, Nitrosigine, tyrosine, agmatine, and brain stuff.
  • Pump chasers who hate stims killing appetite or causing jitters. Focus here is flow, hydration, and smooth drive over caffeine stacks.
  • Athletes in volume phases where effort and quality count. Citrulline, creatine, betaine, glycerol, and Nitrosigine crush multi-set, short-rest workouts.

How to Use

Begin with 1 scoop in 10-14 oz water 20-30 minutes pre-workout to check tolerance. Full 2 scoops hits the best citrulline, creatine, glycerol, betaine, and brain doses. Use a shaker—GlycerPump mixes better shaken, and cold water tastes better. For strongest kick, take on empty stomach or after light food; big meals slow it down. But carbs 60-90 minutes before can amp pump with the citrulline and glycerol. Don't stack with other stims or coffee unless watching total caffeine. No need to cycle non-stim parts like creatine or citrulline, but some ease off stims to stay sensitive. Store sealed in cool, dry spot—glycerol pulls moisture easy.

What to Expect

First 0-10 minutes: mixes up normal, maybe a bit thicker from glycerol. 10-20 minutes: caffeine starts lifting you, with tyrosine and kanna making it focused, not wild. 20-40 minutes: prime time—pump, hydration, and drive team up, muscles feel responsive and full. 40-90 minutes: holds better than stim-only stuff, thanks to flow, glycerol, creatine, and betaine keeping things going. Days 1-7: feel the pump, focus, and energy right away while figuring your dose. Weeks 2-4: creatine and betaine build up for steadier performance and consistency. It shines with regular use since not everything is instant-hit.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in Black Magic BZRK Overdrive?

At the full 2-scoop serving, BZRK Overdrive provides 186.5mg total caffeine. That places it in the moderate-stim category—strong enough for noticeable energy and focus, but lower than the 300-400mg caffeine doses common in many high-stim pre-workouts.

Is 1 scoop enough, or do I need the full 2 scoops?

1 scoop is the right place to start if you are new to the product or sensitive to stimulants, but the full formula is clearly built around the 2-scoop serving. At 2 scoops you get the meaningful doses: 7.714g citrulline, 4.286g creatine monohydrate, 2.571g GlycerPump, 2.143g betaine, and 750mg Nitrosigine.

Is this more of a pump pre-workout or an energy pre-workout?

It is best classified as a hybrid with a strong pump-performance bias. The 186.5mg caffeine gives clean energy, but the formula's identity is really driven by citrulline, Nitrosigine, GlycerPump, agmatine, creatine, and betaine.

Does the creatine dose in BZRK Overdrive count toward my daily intake?

Yes. The full serving provides 4.286g creatine monohydrate, which is close to the classic 3-5g daily maintenance range used in sports nutrition. If this is your only creatine source and you take it consistently, it meaningfully contributes to daily saturation.

What does Nitrosigine do in this formula?

Nitrosigine is a patented inositol arginine silicate complex included here at 750mg. It complements citrulline by supporting arginine availability and nitric oxide production through a different delivery strategy, helping create a broader and often longer-lasting pump profile.

Will this feel jittery?

Most users will not experience it like a harsh high-stim product because the caffeine dose is moderate and the focus profile includes tyrosine and kanna. That said, stimulant-sensitive users should still begin with 1 scoop, especially if they also consume coffee or energy drinks.

Can I stack BZRK Overdrive with a pump product?

Yes, but do it intelligently. Since this already contains 7.714g citrulline, 750mg Nitrosigine, 2.571g GlycerPump, and agmatine, the best stack is usually stim-free and should add something this formula does not already cover heavily rather than duplicating pump ingredients at random.

Is lion's mane here at a full nootropic dose?

At 400mg fruiting body powder, lion's mane is better viewed as supportive than the sole driver of the nootropic experience. The mental feel of this formula is more strongly shaped by caffeine, tyrosine, and kanna, with lion's mane acting as an added cognitive-support layer.

Should I use this only on training days?

For acute pre-workout effects, training days are the obvious use case. However, because the formula contains 4.286g creatine monohydrate and 2.143g betaine, regular use supports better long-term consistency than purely occasional use.

Does this contain a proprietary blend?

No. One of the strongest points of BZRK Overdrive is full label disclosure. Every major active and dose is listed, which is a major advantage in a category where many products still hide meaningful ingredients inside blend names.

Not a bad start

3 stars Thank you Netgalley and Briar Boleyn for the ARC! A camelot/king Arthur retelling with fae. I was hooked by the idea of this book immediately and was eager to jump into this world. • slow burn • enemies to lovers • who did this to you Morgan Pendragon watched her mother die by her father's hand when she was just eight years old, hiding under the bed. Morgan is believed to have the tainted blood of the fae in her veins and is cast aside so that her fathers illegitimate son, Arthur, can become the king. She's seen his cruel treatment of the fae firsthand, so when he sends her on a journey to find a fae weapon she seizes the opportunity to do more with her life. Along the way, she finds more than she could have imagined. I don't know a whole lot about King Arthur and Camelot but I had a lot of fun with this story! The plot has some similar tropes to popular romantasy books (From blood and ash) but there's enough originality here that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a copy. I liked how the fae were different in appearance than what is typical in most fantasy books I've read. In this book they have blue hair, violet skin and a wide range of other characteristics. I thought that the world building was easy to follow and I could easily immerse myself into this world. After reading the blurb I kept wondering when she was going to go on the journey to find Excalibur and it doesn't happen until around the 45% mark. The story is a bit slow at times but starts to pick up once they begin their journey to find Excalibur. The John Wick style Inn was a fun concept that I enjoyed reading about. There are a lot of similarities to this and FBAA and I would have liked to have it be a little more different, but I'm hoping book two will have the story turn into something of its own. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading book two especially after that ending.

Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Queen of Roses (Blood of a Fae #1) by Briar Boleyn Genre General Fiction ( Adult), Romance, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Dark Romance “More primordial than the stars. My name was on his lips as he promised unspeakable darkness to any who came between us.” Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!! I’m a big fan of “touch her, and you die” vibes, but I mean, what’s also not to love about a unique Arthurian retelling with gender twists, a treacherous royal court, a dangerous quest, magical Fae & mystical monsters, entwined with a bit of spice! Morgan, Princess of Pendrath and true heir to the throne has spent most of her life dimming her light to feel safe and to make others comfortable. She is treated as an outcast in the court and repressed by her family due to the blood of the Fae within her and forced to join the Temple of the Three as a priestess in training to one day replace Merlin. Her brother, King Arthur, who reminds me of Joffrey from Game of Thrones, later tells her that he has other plans and offers her a choice of the Temple or to marry her off for political gain, unless… that is, she can journey through the great unknown and return with a long-lost fae weapon with enchanted powers known as Excalibur. Her quest begins with a roguish crew that includes the mysterious, arrogant, and heart-tuggingly handsome Captain of the Royal Guard, Kairos Draven, whom she can’t decide if she wants to stab or indulge in pleasure with. Along the way are plenty of surprises, mystical creatures, and betrayal, all while Morgan uncovers more of the truth about herself and who she can trust. This book had intriguing storylines and lovable characters that kept me turning pages and wanting more. I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds and comes together in book 2, Court of Claws, which I just started reading!! Read if you’re into- Dark Fantasy/Romance Slow–Burn Question Everything Magic and Action Fae Arthurian Legend Stabby/Broken FFC Morally Gray MMC Forced Proximity Queen of Roses is perfect for Holly Black, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and Sarah J. Maas fans. Please check the trigger warnings page in the table of contents before reading this book.

3.5 stars, A little boring to say the least.
Format: Kindle
Wow so I'm not sure where to begin on this one. This was a very different take on the legend of Arthur and Excalibur. This is told from the point of view of Morgan the sister of Arthur. Honestly the first 50% of this book is world building and character building which unfortunately was super boring for me. Morgan to me was a female MC that had a hard time in believing in herself. Sometimes taking too long to understand exactly what was going on around her. Draven was also a different male MC, like I couldn't put my finger on him and what he was all about. It was not until the last 10% of the book did we get some answers on the mystery that is Draven. The other 50% of the book centered around this big journey with everyone having a different motive. We see a spark of magic around this time that had me excited but then we never expanded upon that and what it could mean for the female MC. I feel like I want to read the second book just to see where this goes, but the spice was probably a 2 out of 5. Side characters are ok, Lancelet was fun but I almost felt like I wanted more.

A bewitching retelling of Arthurian legend!
Format: Kindle
In a land where the Fae have nearly become only a legend and those who still posses even a morsel of the blood are few and far between, Morgan finds herself cast aside by most of society due to her rumored half-Fae lineage, including her brother, King Arthur. With the kingdom at the brink of war, Arthur entrusts her with a quest to retrieve a Fae weapon of legendary power: the sword of Perun, Excalibur. Accompanied by men she loathes, Captain Kairos Draven and Ragnar Whitehorn, she embarks on her long and unbeknownst perilous journey, only to find that things she once believed to be myth are in fact very real. With devastating twists, omitted truths, witty banter and fierce action, Queen of Roses leaves you begging to know more about the secrets of Aercanum! Wow, wow, wow! Going into this story, I did not realize that it was going to be a retelling of Arthurian legend, especially not one with a fantastical twist! The unique spin almost gave me The Witcher vibes and I think adding Fae into the mix was quite interesting. I knew the basics of the legend but after reading this book, it has piqued my interest and makes me want to learn more about it. My attention was snatched as soon as I finished the prologue and I knew that I was going to devour this story. I truly enjoyed the gender swaps and even how Arthur was portrayed as villainous. Morgan’s past and even her parts of her present is absolutely heartbreaking, and I felt for her at times. I can only recall one other book that made me hate characters the way I despised Florian and Arthur, leaving me with my blood boiling and feeling disgusted. Even after finishing the book, Draven is still a mystery to me and I cannot figure out how to feel about him. I guess they just means that the author did an excellent job at conveying each character’s persona! The rich world building and imagery made it easy for me to visualize the places that the group visited along their journey. I am truly engulfed in this story and I cannot wait to see wait fate awaits Morgan and how the Fae will be even more incorporated in the next book!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
