No hardware or tools are needed for the cover, which features dimensions of 6-1/2inW x 1-1/4inD x 2-1/8inH. Installation on steel surfaces is simple with the magnetic attachment, but the cover is not compatible with aluminum surfaces or the RDM-DB. The cover is also incompatible with the 696 intercom, for which a low-profile bezel is required.
