De Gier Guitars is een van de meest gerespecteerde boutique-gitaarbouwers van Nederland, en de Bebop 5 Classic laat precies zien waarom. Deze vijfsnarige basgitaar is met de hand gebouwd voor de bassist die niet wil kiezen tussen vintage karakter en hedendaagse speelbaarheid. De turquoise mist relic finish geeft het instrument een tijdloze uitstraling die meteen opvalt, maar het is de speelbeleving die je bijblijft.

De body van elzen (alder) geeft de Bebop 5 Classic een warme, gebalanceerde toon met een heldere aanslag en een volle lage midrange. De flame maple hals met bijpassend flame maple fretboard voegt een glasachtige helderheid toe aan de boventonen, terwijl de compound radius van 7.25" tot 12" zorgt voor een speelcomfort dat zowel akkoordenspel als soleren moeiteloos maakt. De "C"-halsprofilering ligt vertrouwd in de hand, ook na uren spelen.

De Gotoh Vintage Style brug en stemsleutels zorgen voor stabiele stemming en een authentieke vintage respons, terwijl de eenvoudige Vol/Vol/Tone-elektronica directe controle geeft over je toon zonder onnodige complexiteit. Met 21 frets op een 34" mensuur, black dot inlays en een softcase inbegrepen is de Bebop 5 Classic een complete, doorwrochte bas die klaar is voor de studio en het podium. I had a pleasant surprise putting these things on and there being some tactile grip enhancers inside the shoe so you can feel the shoes better and get a little tickle / massage while you're at it. These things are dripping with style, easy to wear, and while they might look firm on the outside, on the inside the shoe just has such a nice flexibility and foamy feel, the top where the top of your feet feel the roof of the shoe, it has such perfect ooey gooey support I can't believe it. The outside sole also has this neat tactile feel. The durability looks good and feels good for now.
