What is orange wine?
AKA 'skin contact' wine, orange wine is skin macerated white wine. Instead of tossing the white grape skins away and fermenting the juice alone, a winemakers will choose to ferment their white wine juice along with their skins, allowing the wine to extract colour, texture and flavour from them. Think of orange wine as white wine made like red wine.
