The 2023 vintage in Clare Valley is one to remember! Precision vineyard care and close attention to the weather played a key role this season. A wet winter and spring set the stage for a slow start, but as the growing season unfolded, the vines flourished, with flowering perfectly timed and harvest kicking off in March. Our white varieties, especially Riesling and Gewürztraminer, thrived in these conditions, with little rainfall from Christmas to March allowing their flavours to develop beautifully. Despite early hurdles, this vintage shines with the distinct character and vibrancy that Clare Valley is known for.
