After many different blends, they finally settled on a 70% Barbera, 30% Nebbiolo mix and this I think is the best for Massimo's vineyards in Monforte. The Barbera give it the upfront ruit and roundness that I love with topline Langhe Rosso, and the Nebbiolo gives it the tannin structure and greater complexity to age. Drink this wine or put it in the cellar for ten years.
