The Edge Product 33553-3 Pulsar Tuning Module & Insight CTS3 Kit will help you get more efficiency and power out of your 2019-2021 Ram 6.4L Hemi. The Pulsar is an in-line module that clips onto the truck’s stock PCM, eliminating unnecessary wiring under the hood of your vehicle. By plugging directly to the vehicle’s computer, the Pulsar can control the truck’s programming to improve throttle response, power & torque, and control the MDS. The end user can also change the speedometer calibration for bigger tires or if you swap the gears in your vehicle with the Pulsar module. The Pulsar module has 8 different power settings that can be changed with the cruise control + and - switches on the steering wheel or with the Insight CTS3. The end user can read and clear trouble codes using the steering wheel buttons with the Pulsar as well. The Insight monitor allows you to change the 8 power levels while monitoring your truck’s parameters. The power settings are shown on the display of the Insight monitor and on the trucks in dash display. The Pulsar module installs in easily and without any cutting or splicing necessary for installation into your truck.

I bought this book. This review is based on one full day of analyzing the material presented. I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting a tool to recall drugs by classification, name, and mnemonics.
I outlined the author's note and feel these are full-circle critical points that he makes: The book assembles an easy to understand basis of drugs to be utilized for class, exams, and medical practice to the student that wants to be remarkable. Also, transforming the language of pharmacology into plain understood English is a realistic goal that this book is helping me with. The author's analogies and mnemonics shared greatly enhance the learning experience. I also highly appreciated the content in the author's note about taking the memorization a step further to comprehension to describe a drug treatment regimen.
I have implemented the strategies within and have found positive results so far! Thank you for such a wonderful book!

Started off great, but kind of went left.

I liked the first few chapters. The introduction of the book have an INCREDIBLE acronym to remember the drug classes. I liked him pointing out stems because they are very helpful, BUT some of the hints and connections could've been better. Also, the book doesn't help memorize the brand/generic name. It only helps remember what drugs go into which drug classes which could be done simply just from knowing your stems. So you're right back at square one trying to remember the brsnd/generic name like you were in the first place.

Makes memorizing 200 drugs look easy!
Format: Paperback
I really liked this book. I liked how this book broke up into 7 different sections (gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, respiratory, immune, neuro, cardio, endocrine) this made it easier to understand. I also thought that Guerra did a good job of explaining what other students found helpful in memorizing these drugs, it was something that I could relate to and found this really helpful. I also really liked at the end of the chapter, how the book gave quizzes at the end of each chapter, this really helped me to retain the information and make sure I understood what the drug really was. Overall, this was a great book and I would recommend this book for anyone taking pharmacology. 200 drugs can be difficult to understand but I thought this book did a good job of memorizing the drugs.

Great for explanation of difficult concepts, with review questions each chapter

I always thought I could never understand pharmacology, so going through my Acupuncture school, I got though my pharmacology courses by rote memorization and pure luck. Then, in practice, I realize that I do have to understand pharmacology, what with the high use of medication in patients' daily routine. So I was looking for a hood, concised, simple to understand pharmacology review that I can do a quick study/review on my own time. Thankfully, I found the right book. This book is everything I've been looking for and amazingly simple to understand. I love the review questions at the end of each chapter. I wish I had found this book while in school, but for $20, it's really help me understand why my patients are taking certain drugs. It also helps me understand the western deconstruction of the Chinese medicinal herbs. I wish they'd come out with a pharmacy review just for Chinese medicinal herbs and potential contraindications, just for acupuncturists and herbalists. The current available herbal medicine textbooks just pretty much list the herbs and note western research on it, but not much of an explanation. With age, I find that I can no longer just do rote memorization, so understanding the basics really helps me to remember and apply concepts. I use this book in my clinic concurrently with a textbook on Chinese medicinal herbs pharmacological concepts to help me understand. And for that, I give it the five stars it deserves.
