- Three 5/16" bow shackles
Turnbuckles, bow shackles, d-shackles, and wire rope clamps are made from marine grade 316 stainless steel. This hardware is designed to stand up to harsh conditions and looks good doing it. The turnbuckle has lock nuts that allow the tension be set and locked into place. White lithium grease applied to the threads of the turnbuckle will prevent seizing and promote smoother operation.
The stainless steel 3/16" wire rope can be run through the perimeter pocket of the sail and creates a complete loop using wire rope clamps to attach the wire rope to itself. When properly installed, the hardware transfers the tensile load from the corners to the center of the sail.
