This sweet little painting was inspired by a walk on the beach on Long Island, near the Hamptons and Montauk earlier this week. I knew I wanted to paint a sand dollar, but what could I create that you haven't seen before? After watching plovers scurry along the beach in front of me, the idea came to life in my mind.

This painting is an Open Edition series.
