That was the period just preceding the creation of Auroville but it also encompasses the first years after its inauguration. Through these short letters and Frederick’s many memories, an amazing picture is taking life in front of us : that of the Supreme Mother, the Universal Mother, and at the same time of a very loving mother caring about the smallest details of her children’s life.

This is about the very special experience of someone whom the Mother asked to establish his family in a solid dwelling on Auroville land “to show that we are here for good”. This leads Frederick to reflect on the past history of Auroville and the present situation.
