The Sogarat are a unit of terrestrial tactical superiority, the ideal of the Morat Infantry. It’s the regiment that has won the most Sotaraks - confrontations for the honor of leading a battle. Its headquarters are full of trophies summing up a violent Morat history, and they are the pride of their race. Being a unit in constant active service, and with the high number of missions they are charged with, any member who survives a year of service is decorated with the prized badge ‘Badirak’ (Act of Sacrifice). The regiment has a strict and implacable selective recruiting policy: to serve with the Sogarats is a desired honor for all Morat soldiers. There is no worse disgrace than that of he who cannot achieve the unit’s high expectations, thus handing over his armor and identifying emblems.
