As with all our new series pedals, we have moved the switch to the right forward position for ease of use, as well as an easy to replace battery compartment. And we have updated our artwork with even more beautiful design features. While the basic function of the model is the same, we have expanded and fine-tuned the VVDVF to work with a wider variety of guitars and amplifiers. Single coil pickups sound clear and crisp, while humbuckers sound big and bold and articulate.

Some players prefer to use very little effects in their playing. The VVDVF is based on a classic low gain overdrive pedal from the 80s called the “BB” from the UK. We have attempted to get the best from this circuit, with the ability to boost a wide range of tone with the best quality possible – from a clean boost to a light overdrive. In the BOOST mode, you can push the amplifier to bring your tone more forward in the mix or you can use the VVDVF to boost your favorite distortion pedals. You can use this pedal to “warm up” your digital effectors and add depth to your tone in a modeling rig.

From the high end of the harmonic spectrum to the midrange (the true core of your guitar tones) and to the low end that helps your tonal foundation, the VVDVF creates a good balance tonally, refined but also a little wild. Bring your rig up a notch to a higher level with one of the few pedals that can meet the boutique demands of today’s guitarists.

VOL: Adjusts the overall volume. It also affects the boost level.
TONE: Controls the tone. Adjusts the high frequencies of distortion and boost.
DRIVE: Adjusts the strength of the distortion. You can also adjust the strength of the distortion in BOOST mode.
OD/BOOST switch: In OD mode, you can create sound from low gain boost to medium gain overdrive, and in BOOST mode, you can create sound from clean boost to light overdrive.

Vintage Van Driving Is Very Fun adopts true bypass footswitch and is powered by a 9V battery or a standard center minus DC 9V adapter.
