- Kodo Millet is a gluten-free and vegan cereal and is grown mostly in an organic way. It is a farmer-friendly crop, known for its ability to sustain heavy drought and marginal soils. Kodo Millet is high in protein, fiber, and essential minerals and vitamins. The fiber content of the whole grain is particularly high and it has around 11% protein. The nutritional value of the protein has been found to be slightly better than that of foxtail millet but comparable to that of other small millets.
