If the rain pours, the detachable outer layer waterproof jacket with its durable 3 layer fabric, fully taped seams and water-repellent coating (DWR), along with the fixed hood with adjustable wired hood peak gives you superior protection against the rain in warmer temperatures. If the rain gives way to wind, the waterproof outer layer can be unzipped, leaving the warm, quilted, inner jacket and hood to help you stay cosy and fight off the blistery gusts.
