Tank comes complete with black coated, galvanized steel mounting straps. Tapered tank features exclusive low fuel trap design so most every gallon can be used, and is approximately only 2.5” deeper than the stock OEM tank. very similar in appearance to original equipment tank. The tank hangs down approximately only 1" below the stock fuel tank shield bracket (on vehicles so equipped). TITAN’s Generation 6 tanks feature the TITAN Torque Ring™ OEM style sending unit mounting system for easy, positive installation. At rated highway MPG++, this tank gives an F-250 a range of over 900 miles! No cutting, drilling or fabrication required for installation. Tank body is pre-marked with optimal location for sump installation of an aftermarket “performance” fuel pump system.

TITAN Fuel Tanks Direct Replacement, Mid-Ship Fuel Tanks are manufactured to use the trucks stock/original equipment fuel sending unit. The trucks stock sending unit is removed from the stock tank and mounted into the TITAN tank. They are a direct fit, there are no modifications needed.

With use of the stock sending unit, the trucks analog fuel gauge will read correct and accurate with the TITAN tank.

Additional Details

Our mid-ship, direct replacement fuel tanks use your trucks stock/OE sending unit. An aftermarket or upgraded sending unit is not needed or required in anyway.

For those wishing to use an aftermarket sending unit, our tanks are compatible with Fleece, AirDog, FASS, etc.

Fitment of our mid-ship, direct replacement fuel tanks do not interfere nor is there any modifications needed when using them with;
-AMP or other powered steps
-Air bag suspension systems
