"Every reader will find this book about attachment enlightening."--Dr. Sue Johnson, author of Hold Me Tight "Does a magnificent job of revealing how attachment manifests at the workplace, in friendships, religion, and even politics."
--Amir Levine, M.D., author of Attached A revealing look at attachment theory, uncovering how our early childhood experiences create a blueprint for all our relationships to come Attachment theory is having a moment. It's the subject of much-shared articles and popular relationship guides. Why is this fifty-year-old theory, widely accepted in psychological circles, suddenly in vogue? Because people are discovering how powerfully it sheds light on who we love--and how. Fascinated by the subject, award-winning journalist and author Peter Lovenheim embarked on a journey to understand it from the inside out. Interviewing researchers, professors, counselors, and other experts, as well as individuals and couples whose attachment stories illuminate and embody the theory's key concepts. The result is this engaging and revealing book, which is part journalism, part memoir, part psychological guide--and a fascinating read for anyone who wants to better understand the needs and dynamics that drive the complex relationships in their lives. Topics include:
* What it means to be securely and insecurely attached
* How our early childhood experiences create a blueprint for future relationships--and how to use those insights to gain self-awareness and growth
* Why anxious and avoidant attachment types tend to attract each other, and how to break the negative cycle
* How anyone can work to become "earned secure" regardless of their upbringing and past relationships.

Husband approved
Color: Khaki, Size: X-Large
I got this one for my husband too, and it is a really nice shirt. It has that classic Oxford look that works for a lot of situations, whether he is wearing it for work, dinner, church, or just trying to look a little more put together.
The fabric feels comfortable but still has enough structure that it does not look sloppy. It is not stiff or scratchy, and the fit looks good on him without being too tight. I also like that it holds its shape well and does not seem like it will need a ton of fussing to look decent after washing.
The style is simple in the best way. It pairs easily with jeans, chinos, or dress pants, so it is one of those shirts that can go a bunch of different directions depending on what he wears it with.
Another solid husband shirt. Comfortable, clean-looking, easy to style, and definitely something he will actually wear.

Great Fit for Tall Men — Comfortable and Stylish
Size: 18.5" Neck 35"-36" Sleeve, Color: Cameo Blue
I bought the Van Heusen Men’s Tall FIT Dress Shirts in Poplin because it’s hard to find dress shirts that fit well for taller men. The fit is excellent — long enough in the sleeves and body, yet still tailored and comfortable. I especially like the blue color, which looks sharp and professional. I have already purchased multiple shirts and would definitely buy more. Very happy with these.
Key Features:
Tall fit designed for men with longer torsos and sleeves
Classic poplin fabric for a smooth, crisp look
Long sleeves with button cuffs
Traditional button-down front
Easy-care fabric, machine washable
Available in multiple colors for versatility
Modern, tailored fit that isn’t too loose

22" neck With good length sleeve relaxed and bent
Size: 22" Neck 37"-38" Sleeve, Color: Flame
22" neck With good length sleeve relaxed that didn't walk up forearm when arm was bent.
For a fitted shirt. 22" neck was true to size but the waist is still quite large. Even with creative folding it was noticeably large waisted.
Fabric is high quality and vivid color that should last.
Price is Fair and a good value for this shirt.
Buttons fit easily into the holes but are secure and won't come out too easily.
