Almost identical to the Flak 36, the Flak 37 introduced updated fire control instruments that allowed for a greater degree of autonomy in directing fire, making it an even more effective dual-purpose weapon in the hands of a well-trained crew.

Originally designed as an anti-aircraft gun, the Eighty-Eight's devastating performance in the anti-tank role became apparent early in the war — capable of destroying any Allied tank at combat ranges with ease. Deployed across every theatre from the Western Desert to the Eastern Front and North-West Europe, it became the weapon Allied tank crews feared above all others, and a cornerstone of German defensive doctrine.

This 1/56 scale hard plastic kit is supplied with 8.8cm shells and shell cases, and can be built to both traverse and elevate — neither enemy armour nor aircraft will be safe. Seven metal German Army crew figures are included to bring the gun team to life on the tabletop.
