The Red Paintings have always done things a little differently. Their live shows aim and succeed at being bigger, bolder and riskier than what other local bands even contemplate. Absent are the drums, bass and all the epic rock theatrics and in their place are cello, violin and main man trash McSweeney playing acoustic guitar and singing.
