From the first sip you know you are drinking an Italian wine due to the meaty, dry tannins, tart red berry fruits, and lively balance of acidity punctuated by a pleasantly long finish. This little known DOC has a wine champion and it's made by Salvapiana. This wine is made for more complex cuisine like Italian sausage stuffed quail, chingale ragu, or flank steak roulade.
