Stainless Steel Multi-Use Canner with Temperature Indicator 20 Qt
Canning - the process of heat treating your food by plunging it into boiled water (also called a 'water bath') and then sealing it in airtight containers - has become an increasingly popular method over the last two hundred years to preserve food.
If you prefer to can using the 'steam method' that has been developed over the last few decades, then lucky for you this stainless steel canner is multi-use and so versatile enough for both methods.
The flat clad bottom works great on all cook surfaces including induction. The built-in temperature indicator features 3 color-coded elevation settings to help insure correct processing by either steam or water bath method. The lid is made from tempered glass and has vent holes to allow steam to escape.
You can use this pot as a regular stock pot, or insert the double sided stainless steel canning rack that comes with it, fitting 8 pint or 7 quart jars.
