The 50th Anniversary Album, in loose-leaf form, was put together by Linda Sheffield Dunn, Barbara Sheffield George, Suzanne Sheffield Tanner, and Nancy Sheffield Watkins. This was done in preparation for the celebration of the 50th wedding anniversary of our Mother and Father (Norma Anderson Sheffield and Evan Gayle Sheffield, Sr.), which was held on June 29th, 1987. The album was loose-leaf bound with each page inserted front to back into polypropylene storage album pages. Pictures were mounted with corner mounts on acid-free paper. The picture descriptions were hand written using a pen with acid-free ink. The original album contained many pictures and documents with some text included. The binder was beautifully covered with padded cloth and contained two cross-stiched panels. Douglas and Stephen Sheffield scanned all the pictures, retyped some of the information, and formatted the pictures and pages into an Adobe InDesign document that would be available to all the members of our family.
