The AEM-21-774DS Performance Cold Air Intake System produces horsepower and torque gains by replacing your vehicle's restrictive factory air filters and air intake housings. This air intake system was designed, tuned and dyno-tested to fit select Infiniti Q50 models. Air enters the system through dual AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filters for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The air filters are located in the original air box spaces and are protected by heat shields which are designed to reduce intake air temperature and increase horsepower. Air is then fed to the engine through not one, but two air intake tubes. This air intake system was developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices including the mass air flow sensors and crankcase vent tube. The dual tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filters are made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions). The air intake system is easy to install with commonly available tools and it is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are 50 state legal. The product is good and contrary to some comments I read it was not a mess to install and went on very nicely. That said I placed on a 71 Baracudda and starting from a 71db I was able to drop that down to about 66 with two layers Kilmatt 80mil

Excellent Sound Deadening Material!

I installed Kilmat Sound Deadening in my truck, and I’m extremely impressed with the results. The material is thick, pliable, and easy to cut to fit doors, floor panels. It sticks very well to metal surfaces and doesn’t peel, even after heating it slightly to make it more flexible. After installation, I immediately noticed a reduction in road noise and vibrations. Worth the money!!

A Must Have For Car Restorations!

I have been installing this matting in my 74 Datsun 260Z restore and very pleased with the ease of application and overall quality. My car has bedliner coating inside and this stuff sticks extremely well and is easy to trim and shape as well. I have just started installing it and using the rollers to work it in place but I can already tell a difference with just the little bit I have added....has reduced the resonance in the metal already. It's not a fast process but know it will be very rewarding once complete.
