I once saw a statue of Guan Yin, Buddha of Compassion, and in some way I couldn't figure out Guan Yin was wearing a jade bangle bracelet like this one, the color and slenderness. I bought this for myself while shopping in China near the Burma border for jade, but didn't try it on because I didn't want the jade seller to know how much I wanted it so the price wouldn't get raised. Jade has no price in China, it's all about bargaining. I was so disappointed it's just a little to small for my wrist, and hope it finds a jade-loving wrist to wear it.
