This is the Single LP version of this Chasing the Dragon double album extraordinaire! In creating this album, producer Mike Valentine wanted a group of exceptional musicians. Valentine felt so lucky to have to opportunity in working with the UK's leading big band, The Syd Lawrence Orchestra. His final requirement was to find a recording studio which not only had a superb sounding space, it also had to have an engineer versed in the black art of cutting live vinyl. Ultimately, he chose Air Studios with engineers Jake Jackson and John Webber. The Syd Lawrence Orchestra led by Chris Dean performs music consisting of eight pieces from the big band era, the creations of Glen Miller, Artie Shaw, and Benny Goodman played live at Air Studios. Well, what did their adventure reveal? Interesting Concept, But Redundant If You Already Use BHA
If you have seen this Glow Rice Exfoliant Ampoule Duo on Instagram or TikTok, you already know the marketing pitch: a gentle, soft peel that physically cleans out pores on your face and body. After testing it, I can confirm that it actually does clean pores, but the mechanism is nothing magical. It relies on the friction of massaging the serum into your skin to clump up and manually extract dead skin and debris. It is a satisfying and interesting process to watch, but it isn't groundbreaking.The biggest drawback is its redundancy if you already have a solid skincare routine. I noticed that when I use this product after my usual BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) exfoliant, it becomes completely ineffective. Because the chemical exfoliant already cleans deep inside the pores and dissolves dead skin cells, this manual friction gel finds nothing left to grab onto. It is a decent, gentle physical exfoliant that does the job, but if you already use a chemical exfoliant like BHA, you can safely skip this social media trend.

Skin feels so soft!
I actually love this stuff it makes my skin feel so smooth and soft after I use it! I don’t see a difference between the two they both work equally imo. Great if you’re in a budget and was great exfoliation!

Not as good as the real thing
I was really hoping to get a less expensive alternative to Dr Melaxin’s version. This just isn’t cutting it - it totally is not as effective, so I’m tossing this and going back. This one just doesn’t pill up as effectively.

Not as effective as original Dr. M
I bought this after reading several reviews that it is as effective as the original Dr. M. Having used both I can assert this product is NOT nearly as effective. I still had some of the original Dr. M. and did a half and half comparison and it was immediately clear. This exfoliate "pills" like the original but not nearly to the degree and when washed away the half I used the leftover Dr. M. was clean of dead skin and showed clear pores. The other half? Not so much. I'll be going back to the original.
