Commemorated January 22.

Saint Anastasius was a Persian by race, the son of a Magus, and a soldier in the Persian army in the days of Chosroes II, King of Persia, and Heraclius, Emperor of New Rome. The Saint's Persian name was Magundat. When Chosroes captured Jerusalem in the year 614 and took the Precious Cross away captive, Magundat heard the report of the miracles that came to pass through the Cross of our salvation. Being of a prudent mind, perplexed that an instrument of torture should be so highly honored by the Christians, yet seized with longing to learn their Faith, he diligently sought out instruction in the whole divine dispensation of Christ: His Incarnation, Passion, and Resurrection. When he learned what he sought to know, his soul was filled with wonder and joy.

Withdrawing to the Holy City, he was baptized by Saint Modestus, Patriarch of Jerusalem, and became a monk, receiving the new name of Anastasius. As he read the lives of the Saints and the accounts of the holy Martyrs, his heart was kindled with love for them to such a degree that he prayed to be counted worthy of a martyr's end like unto theirs. Finally, unable to contain his longing, he left his monastery. Encountering certain Persian Magi at Caesarea, he rebuked them for their delusion. Since Palestine was still held in the captivity of the Persians, he was taken before the Persian ruler, questioned, beaten, and imprisoned. He was then taken with other captives to Persia, where, after many tortures, refusing to espouse again the error of his fathers, he was hanged up by one hand, strangled with a noose, and beheaded. The translation of his holy relics is celebrated on the 24th of this month.

Not for aggressive chewers
Size: 36 Inch
My GSD ate half of it within 20min before I caught her. I don’t think it was meant for aggressive chewers so I can’t fault the product for that. My dogs did have a few hours of fun with it playing tug and it held up well.

Emotional Support Lizard
Size: 15 Inch
This was my Goldendoodle puppy's first toy, and a year later, it's still his favorite. It was light enough for him to play with it at 9 pounds, but big enough that he still loves it at 40 pounds. He carries it around, slaps his brother with it, throws it and chases it, sleeps with it, etc. He enjoys his stuffies also, but he returns to this one repeatedly through the day, so I know he loves it. It's a bit discolored, but still fully intact. If you have a dog with a soft mouth who isn't prone to chewing, this toy is perfect. I've purchased extras to keep in the emergency supplies in both the house and the car.

Not for puppies or dogs who enjoy chewing toys.
Size: 25 Inch
NOT FOR PUPPIES OR CHEWERS! If you have a dog that is teething or enjoys chewing on toys for soothing this is not the toy to buy. My 4 month old ate the sneak head off and the inside plastic ball squeaker was exposed and fell out and my puppy swallowed it. I tried to take it away from him but it was too late .. he already swallowed it. This caused serious vomiting days later in my pup. I’m not likely to leave negative reviews unless I truly have a horrific experience and this toy provided just that. 0 stars.

Good for kittens & cats too!
Size: 15 Inch
Bought this for our new kitten, 5 months old, and didn't know if it was a good purchase or not. He loves it! He can chew on it, drag it around the house, interact with us too. And he hasn't lost or destroyed it. The only disappointment is the head squeaker stop working. The placard stated it would work even if bit. Not a big deal, though; kitten doesn't like the squeak. LOL
