After releasing records and touring with his synthesizer-driven Kap10Kurt outfit, the Swiss-born New Yorker focused on working in the studio with a long list of major acts like The Kills and Moby, while also writing several original songs together with Dave Gahan for the latest two Depeche Mode albums. But now Kurt Uenala re-emerges as a solo artist under the name Null + Void, with his debut full-length Cryosleep and displays the full range of his outstanding abilities. Swiss-born New York based Kurt Uenala first made his name in 2003, debuting as Kap10Kurt on the essential compilation The Sound Of Young New York (2003). His song "Die Sleeping" was an early classic of dreamy, club-ready synth pop, and it caught the attention of fans and artists around the world. It eventually landed him a gig recording with Depeche Mode singer Dave Gahan, not to mention a long list of major acts such as Moby and The Kills. Cryosleep is an album of contrasts and tension, where darkness is pierced by blinding light, and where moody new wave bleeds into stark electronics. In one moment, joyful memories give way to isolation and regret, and in the next, Cryosleep explores the catharsis of crowded dancefloors. Throughout the record, Uenala matches his dynamic production with incredible vocalists - from Depeche Mode's Dave Gahan and the inimitable Shannon Funchess (Light Asylum), to Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Big Pink, and Sharin Foo (The Raveonettes). Null + Void's take on dark pop meshes with his love for Detroit electro, poignant synth melodies, and cold atmospheres. Includes three tracks available via the download code: "Blank Stare", "Where I Wait (feat. Dave Gahan) (Radio Edit)", and "Where I Wait (feat. Dave Gahan) (Aristokrasia Version)".
Tracks:
1.1 Falling Down (Feat. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club)
1.2 Into the Void
1.3 Asphalt Kiss
1.4 Where I Wait (Feat. Dave Gahan)
1.5 Come to Me
1.6 Take It Easy (Feat. the Big Pink)

Helps with redness and softens skin
I have sensitive, mild rosacea skin. Had a facial recently and the aesthetician suggested I get a serum to help with moisturizer as I am almost 40. I’ve tried a lot of serums and either they are sticky and not really hydrating or break my skin out in a rash. This serum is amazing. Helps calm the redness in my cheeks and my skin is moisturized and soft all day. It feels a little sticky at first but it goes away. I apply in this order OSEA sea mineral mist toner to prep the skin, this serum and top off with Chanel La Solution 10 for sensitive skin.

Sensitive skin
Such a good product. I use after micro needling when skin is sensitive. Also a great product to use as a barrier serum when starting tretinoin cream.

Saved my skin during an eczema flare up
This saved my skin!
I had an eczema flare on my face, and my usual products weren’t working. A friend recommended the Avene brand and within 3 days of using this rescue barrier serum, my flare was almost completely gone! This saved my face!

PLEASE REVIEW — FORMULA CHANGED!!!
I wish I would’ve posted a review PRIOR to the formula changing but just know that I LOVED this serum. I’ve struggled with hormonal acne (PCOS) and eczema for as long as I can remember. Finally, last summer my dermatologist put me on (3) different RX including Spironolactone and Accutane. I was so tired so I stopped everything except for CeraVe cleanser, retinol (Tretinoin) and CeraVe healing ointment. My made up skin routine was working until I used too much Tretinoin and burned my face. I had read great reviews about this product so I thought, I might as well try it — and IT WORKED! I’ve been using this product for almost a year and I loved it. However, 3 weeks ago when I ordered it, I noticed the bottle had a green tint. I could tell after one use that the feel of the serum was different, more watery, not as thick as it used to be. The smell was also different. Still, I kept using it for nearly 2 weeks and I experienced 2 breakouts! Sure enough, I stopped the product and within a few days, my skin was back to normal. I am very upset because as someone who has extremely sensitive skin, this worked but unfortunately, the new formula isn’t for me.

My skin loves this.
This might be the best face wash I’ve ever used, and I do NOT say that lightly. I have it on subscription because I panic a little at the thought of running out.
For context: my skin has gone from oily, acne-prone chaos to “surprise! now you’re dry and post-menopausal” and somehow this cleanser handles ALL of it beautifully.
It cleans deeply without stripping my skin, leaves my face feeling soft instead of tight, and somehow manages to make my skin look calmer, smoother, and less angry overall. My pores even look better.
Also… the texture? Weirdly satisfying!! It has this rich, creamy feel that feels luxurious without being heavy.
Now for my one complaint:
The cap sucks and we are in an ongoing toxic relationship.
The cleanser itself is elegant Korean skincare perfection. 5 stars!
