Slowing Down: Unexpected Ways to Thrive as a Female LeaderWhen you're living the un slow life, you're living for the future, living for some goal up ahead that you will never reach. And in this way, you are putting yourself at odds with the present, which only strips more power from you. Happiness and fulfillment become delayed. Unattainable. When you're living the un-slow life, you're living for the future, living for some goal up ahead that you will never reach. And in this way, you are putting yourself at odds with the present, which only strips more power from you. Happiness and fulfillment become delayed. Unattainable. Stranded out there in the foreign future. Accordingly, burnout occurs. The more stress and less fulfillment that comes with this way of life, the harder the treadmill runner will push herself to get to that distant future and the relief it brings. In this state, it's easy to struggle with others, too, which of course makes life harder and happiness feel even further away. Frequently, you fight with co-workers, children, parents, siblings, and bosses. Then you may find yourself harboring resentments for anyone that slows your headlong rush toward future success and the happiness associated with it. When unmanaged, these brushes with others, then, can turn into sores and lingering wounds that worsen with time. In the treadmill life, there is no time to slow down and handle the present. There is no time to relax when serenity and peace and success are so far off. Fearful questions and disempowering beliefs lodge at the back of the mind, unconsciously urging for more action. Even the thought of changing our approach to life seems scary and holds us hostage. "What would I be, if I weren't living this way?
Would I still achieve my goals?" "What will happen if I actually change my approach to life? Will I want to leave my job or my partner? Will my partner want to leave me? And then what? What if I actually find happiness? Some of us even have this question lurking around, a question that creates so much discomfort it compels us to dive deeper into the distraction of more work: "Do I even deserve success?" Truth be told, when I began learning to slow down, I did see that there was a lot I had to address. I learned that much of my trouble came from the way I related to the world and the beliefs that I held about the world and the people in it. I learned that I was trying to fit into a corporate culture using character traits that didn't suit me or feel good to me. I was living someone else's notion of success and happiness. Simply put, I believed I was at the mercy of the world and the people around me. I didn't see that I actually had many choices. I didn't see how I could really question and challenge my beliefs. How I could shift the way I was seeing the world. And I then began to discover that happiness is already inside me... it was just covered up by all the beliefs I had piled on over many years that led me down the path of believing it was somewhere else. This discovery of the slowed down life, the digging into the present moment to find happiness, true success, and freedom--that is the point of this book. To reveal to you the ways that happiness and joy and ownership have entered my life and the lives of my clients as a result of slowing down, questioning beliefs to gain clarity, moving from a place of victimhood to empowerment, and ultimately finding that state of peace and fulfillment that I know exists in us all.

Great quality & interest
Keeps my Shepard/Husky occupied for 30+ minutes. She hasn't even destroyed it.

Good for medium and large dogs not good for small dogs
Too big for dogs under 15 pounds. Treats are hard to get out of the four corners. My dog can barely pick this up. She weighs 12 pounds. She still found it interesting though trying to dig the treats out that she was unsuccessful. Even after I cut all the little triangle prongs off the four corners the treats are still stuck in there. There is a slot on the side that I can put half of a dental refill in the side and she can eventually get it out so there’s still somewhat of play and challenge received, but not that satisfied to me.

Great for aggressive chewers!
Size: Jumbo, Style: Peanut Butter
I have a very very aggressive chewer. She is a Rottweiler/Pitbull mix. Most toys she completely destroys within 2 days, sometimes 2 hours. I must praise this toy as she has had it for over 5 months and has not destroyed it! She loves chewing the ends and carries in her mouth squeaking it as she goes. I have 4 pups and they all take turns chewing when they can. I will be buying more Playology dog toys in the future. Thank you for making such a great toy!!

They are her favorites
Size: Medium (VALUE 2-Pack), Style: Beef, Size: Medium (VALUE 2-Pack), Style: Beef
We’ve had many dogs, many very destructive ones and wish I had these years ago. The hard toys get sharp edges, this toy is the best and yes is far better than the other red ones. My bulldog wants tug of war for 30 min to an hour every night. We’ve gotten tennis elbow, tendinitis, and pulled muscles holding onto this thing. She has tons of toys but 9pm and this is only option for her. We don’t get a choice. Easy to hold, well for a few min until your hand gets tired. First you one was about 3 years ago and she’s only on her third one. They last forever, easy to clean, and aren’t sharp edges. Seriously, better than any toy sold anywhere. My phone has hundred of pictures of Pickle holding this. She’s doing it right now. If you have a strong destructive dog that takes pride in destroying toys, ruin their confidence and get them this one.

Perfect Toy for Large Dogs
Size: Medium, Style: Cheddar Cheese
I don’t normally leave reviews, but this toy is stellar and is a new favorite for my dog! She is a large dog (70lbs cattle dog lab mix) and I accidentally bought a medium, but it actually is a great size for her! So far this stands up to her chewing, but I may need to update in a few weeks to speak for durability but it really does feel solid. Most toys don’t last an afternoon once she starts chewing, so this has already won in that regard. The shape is perfect as well. She can gnaw at it, squeak, play fetch, play tug. It bounces when she throws it around herself. The fact it smells like stinky cheese is just an added bonus for her. All around, a very well designed dog toy!
