This mixed media work measures 7.5" by 7.5 " and was executed in 2023. The work was acquired directly from the artist.

Noel Morera was born in Matanzas, Cuba in 1962. He studied at Scholl of Visual Arts, Academy San Alejandro, Havana from 1975-1979. Noel was a member of UNEAC and Taller de Artes Gráficas de la Habana. He is well known for his paintings and murals as well as his sculptures, set-designs, and polyptychs. Noel currently lives in Miami, Florida.

He has exhibited widely: Istanbul, Turkey - Madrid, Spain - Alabama School of Fine Arts, Birmingham, Alabama - Valencia, Spain - NY, NY

Update: sweater looked great when I received. After 1 wash it looks terrible. Looks like it’s been washed too many times, material fuzzy and piled. I love the details of the buttons on the sleeves. It is SO soft. It’s not super thick as I can see my skin through it when pressing my hand up against fabric. However, it’s not see through when wearing it. It’ll be perfect in cooler weather and perfect in the winter with a coat but won’t cause me to overheat when in a heated environment. I do feel like it runs big. I could have sized down a size. Although I’m not sure if it’ll shrink after a wash or two.
