Vinyl LP pressing. 2016 release, the seventh studio album from Son of Dave. This time it's a collection of cover tunes, packaged up like the old K-Tel Super Hits compilations from the 1970's. It's a mad selection of songs to cover, spanning a century of music. All sorts of genres are jammed through Son of Dave's funky sausage machine, all coming out sounding naturally like his own. Daft Punk, Leadbelly, AC/DC, and Rudimental all get given his tough harmonica and beatbox treatment, and are subject to his growling and loving vocals. It's an album to give the people what they want- popular songs they know already, belted out from the old cult bluesman's gut. Connoisseurs of the cover song will rejoice with tunes by Paloma Faith, War, The Bar-Keys and John Lee Hooker. Even “Pump Up The Jam” is dragged onto the dance floor again. Only two of these tunes have appeared on previous albums. Fans have heard many of these tunes at shows and have been long awaiting the chance to spin 'em at home.

Treasure!! The best!!
I had been using Avene Compensating cream for years before it was reformulated and renamed as “Revitalizing” in (as I remember) 2020. At the time, every single comment I saw complained about its pilling and its getting worse after reformulation. Every single comment wished for the old formulation back. Because Avene Compensating was PERFECT for me, I got very anxious after reading the comments and decided not to purchase the new Revitalizing cream. I jumped around from products to products for the last 2 years (from expensive La Mer cream, Cle de peau La Creme, Lancome soft cream, Amorepacific Time Response to less expensive Clarins Hydra, Embryolisse). Nothing beat Avene Compensating cream. Nothing came close to Avene Compensating cream in terms of giving my easily irritated skin that clear, well moisturized, trouble-free, healthful look. Fast forward to the week of Thanksgiving 2022 after I got back from a Las Vegas trip with terribly dry and dehydrated reddish skin that nothing helped (and I always use sheet masks daily), I decided to give Avene Revitalizing a try. Worst case scenario, I would waste my $40 that I, very likely, would otherwise waste on another non Avene moisturizer. I’m so grateful I gave it a try. I don’t know if Avene listened to its loyal customers and brought the old formulation back, or if they improved the new formulation that pilled, but the Avene Revitalizing cream (I tried both rich and regular versions) did not pill at all for me and as far as I can still remember, Avene Compensating cream felt the same to me. After 2 nights of Avene Revitalizing, my skin is pretty much back to normal now. I think this is the old formulation but I can’t say for sure because it was more than 2 years ago when I last used the cream, but no matter what, if it keeps being what it is now, I will be a customer for life. Please Avene. Don’t change formulation again.

Forget all those high priced moisturizers this is the best value for your money. The, skin deep hydration is amazing. No smells amazing performance from a amazing product.
