Ortho® GroundClear® Year Long Vegetation Killer is formulated to kill unwanted weeds, grasses, and plants to the root and prevent weeds and vegetation for up to 1 year. This fast-acting formula starts working immediately and is rainproof in 1 hour. Use Ortho® GroundClear® Year Long Vegetation Killer only where no vegetation is desired for at least a year. Use on driveways, sidewalks, fence lines, paver patios, walkways, gravel areas, rock and desert landscapes, under decks, parking areas, and along fences and curbs. Water the day before application if soil is dry. For best results, apply when temperatures are above 60°F. The reusable Comfort Wand® provides consistent spray for maximum accuracy. Do not use before planting lawns, fruits, vegetables, or other plants because the product remains active in the soil for up to one year. Do not enter or allow others to enter treated areas until sprays have dried.

Step By Step Instructions

Prep

• Take the Comfort Wand® out of the side holster.
• Remove the pull strip to activate the battery and unfold the wand until it clicks into position.
• Unwrap the hose and insert the connector into the spout on the bottle cap until it clicks into place.

Spray

• Twist the knob to "ON" and turn the sprayer nozzle to the desired spray pattern.
• Slide switch on trigger to "Unlock."
• Press trigger to spray.

Finish

• Turn the nozzle "OFF" and the switch on the trigger to "Lock."
• Twist the knob "OFF."
• Fold the wand closed and place the sprayer back on the side of the bottle.

When and Where to Use

Where Not to Use

• Do not use on lawns, on or around fruits, vegetables, flowers, shrubs, trees, or over the root zone of shrubs and trees.
• Do not use before planting lawns, fruits, vegetables, flowers, or other plants because this product will remain active in the soil for up to one year.
• Do not apply next to a fence if desirable plants are growing on the other side.
• Do not apply to slopes as movement on the soil surface may damage plants down the slope.
• Do not apply this product in a way that will contact any person or pet, either directly or through drift.

Where to Use

Apply this product only where no vegetation is desired for at least a year. Use where no plant growth is wanted for at least a year on driveways, sidewalks, fence lines, paver patios, walkways, gravel areas, parking areas, and other hardscapes.

When to Apply

Apply to bare ground or actively growing weeds. For best results, apply on a sunny day when the temperature is above 60℉.

How Often to Apply

Applications should be limited to once per year. (In areas of heavy rainfall, applications may need to be repeated every 6 to 8 months.)
