It also work with propane, just by changing the cutting tip. The torch comes with a Harris style 6290 1 cutting tip that will cut up to 1" thick plate steel with acetylene and oxygen. It is capable of cutting up to 6" thick steel with larger tips. At the bottom of the torch is a set of reverse flow check

It also work with propane, just by changing the cutting tip. The torch comes with a Harris style 6290-1 cutting tip that will cut up to 1" thick plate steel with acetylene and oxygen. It is capable of cutting up to 6" thick steel with larger tips. At the bottom of the torch is a set of reverse flow check valves that prevent the reverse flow of gas. The torch has standard B-size 9/16-18 size fittings.
