The fi-800R eliminates the need for multiple devices with its innovative dual-path scanning mechanism:
- U-Turn ADF Scan: Effortlessly scan stacks of up to 20 standard A4 documents at a rapid 40 pages per minute (80 images per minute in duplex). The U-turn path ejects documents from the top, saving valuable desk space.
- Return Scan (Single Feed): Seamlessly scan thick items like passports, driver's licenses, and plastic ID cards up to 5mm thick. Documents are fed and returned from the front, ensuring you never have to part with a customer's important credentials.

Its Automatic Skew Correction straightens documents before scanning, and Active Separation technology prevents frustrating double-feeds.
