- Cinnamon powder is made from the inner bark of tropical, evergreen trees. The barks are sun dried and they curl up into rolls which make the cinnamon sticks. The sticks are further ground to obtain pure cinnamon powder.

- Difference between cassia and Ceylon- Cassia cinnamon is a type of cinnamon which has a stronger flavour as compared to true Ceylon.
