This Power Supply Variable Voltage and Current provides power regulation for a variety of electronic devices and experiments, with various outputs like high voltage, constant current, mass electron applications, and general-purpose electrical testing.
A. High Voltage: For electronics, vacuum tubes, and studying the mass of electrons. Monitors output voltage with a large meter, separate bench meter available for output current
B. Extra High Voltage: For Spectrum and Teltron tubes, Aepinus capacitors, and other functions. It has low regulation, resulting in quick voltage drop when current is used.
C. Constant Current: For electrical experiments that require consistent currents, rather than voltages and maintain a preset current even as the load changes.
D. Mass of Electron Apparatus: For "Mass of an Electron" experiment. Delivers 250V DC at 1 milliamp for "Magic Eye" tube's anode, 12V AC at 1 amp for tube's heater, and up to 2 amps for Air Cored Solenoid to deflect the electron beam.
E. Low Voltage: For electroplating laboratories but is also useful for general classroom use and most laboratory experiments.
F. Dual Mode: Combines AC/DC switched and DC smooth and regulated power outputs, making it suitable for general lab work and electronic studies.
