Ratio Tech 1x11 Wide range assembly

A conversion kit for allowing bikes running Sram 1x11 drop bar drive trains with a 42T max cog size to handle a wider range 11-51T cassette.

Sram 1x11 drivetrains have been extremely popular over the last few years on all sorts of gravel and bikepacking bikes but have traditionally been limited to run a 42T max cog size. While that's a great low gear for unloaded riding, when you add camping gear or touring in mountainous terrain it becomes clear quite quickly that they really need a significantly lower gear. There are a number rof ways around this including converting bikes to run 1x12, but by the time you modify or replace the shifters the costs add up quickly.

Lately we have been increasing the gear range by combining the Ratio Sr52 Cage, a Deore 11 speed 11-51T Cassette and a new chain to make an incredibly affordable gear range upgrade.

The derailleur cage is compatible with mechanical SRAM 1×11 derailleurs with Type 2.x and Type 3 clutches including both road & MTB versions, as well as SRAM 1×12 Eagle derailleurs. Electronic Eagle AXS* derailleurs are not compatible.

The Deore Cassette is compatible with a standard HG freehub body, it does not work on an XD freehub body. Many bikes running Sram 1x11 drivetrains actually use a Shimano HG freehub body. A simple way to check is to look at the smallest cog, if it is a 10T then almost certainly you have an XD freehub body, if your smallest cog is 11t or larger almost certainly it is an HG freehub body.
