Southdown may have used the vehicle for 'rescuing' broken down buses and coaches from their extensive fleet. This model has also proved a popular addition to Oxford's 1: 76 scale series and is decorated here in 1: 148 scale in exactly the same characteristic green and cream of this popular south coast company.
