This service covers the inspection of your appliance tester to determine the repairs required. The listed cost represents the minimum inspection fee, applicable when repairs are not covered under warranty. This fee is only charged if the owner chooses not to proceed with the repair (which will be quoted separately).

Please note that this service is only suited to Portable Appliance Testers.

What's the Process?

• Add this item to your basket and proceed to checkout to purchase this inspection service.
• Securely package your instrument, including your name and company details.
• Send your instrument to Test and Tag Supplies (address below) using a traceable shipping method.
  

Expected turnaround time: 5-10 working days once the instrument is received by Test and Tag Supplies.

What's Included?

Upon receiving your instrument, we will evaluate the required repairs and provide a repair quote.

• The inspection fee does not include any corrective actions or repairs.
  
• It may include (if required) our submission of your instrument to a 3rd party for assessment (if we are unable to diagnose the fault)
• If you choose to proceed with the repair, the inspection fee will be waived.
• If you decide not to proceed, the inspection fee will apply.

What's Not Included?

• Repair or adjustment of the instrument if it is found to be outside the manufacturer's specifications. This will be quoted for your approval once the inspection and assessment has been completed. 
• Cost of post repair calibration - this will be quoted separately if required.
• Cost of consumables (such as replacement batteries) should they be required.
• The cost excludes the freight of the instrument from you to our premises for service inspection.
• Any additional costs that may arise (e.g., if the instrument requires repair or adjustment by a third party) will be quoted for your approval prior to completion of works. In the event that additional costs arise and that work is declined by you, the instrument will be returned to you. In this case, return freight costs will apply.
