Speckled cream bundle dyed alpaca silk cashmere four ply yarn

These are skeins of Alpaca silk cashmere yarn, my Haw base. All my bases are named after parts of plants and trees. It is cream with speckles in orange, yellow, brown and grey.

It is 70% baby alpaca, 20% Silk and 10% Cashmere, Four ply 100g Skeins Approx. 400m.

This is a beautifully soft yarn. It would make lovely shawls, sweaters and accessories. Cashmere is a fibre that is warm and silk adds strength.

It has been hand dyed by me in my studio with coreopsis and marigolds grown in my own dye garden. 

I have tried to capture the colour of the yarn as accurately as possible. Please bear in mind that monitors vary and colours can be perceived differently.

Due to the nature of hand dyeing, the colours in each skein may be slightly different and no two skeins will be identical. As with any hand dyed wool, if using more than one skein then alternating skeins on every couple of rows will help to balance any slight differences.

I have rinsed the yarn until it runs clear. However, some dye may remain. A little may come off when knitting but this will quickly settle down.
I recommend you soak your finished item in a gentle/pH neutral soap. Natural dyes can change or fade slightly as they age. Hang to dry away from direct sunlight and store in a dark place.
