早年郭元益僅是一間五坪大的小舖，老闆總是每天帶頭捲起麵粉袋做的長褲腳，在店鋪旁的小溪中小心翼翼洗滌著粒粒珍貴的豆沙原料「綠豆」；洗滌後將綠豆仁放入大鍋中翻炒成餡。為了讓豆餡更具綿密口感，必須站在大灶邊用鍋鏟長時間慢慢翻炒，師傅們常笑稱自已的汗珠比綠豆顆粒還大。
1955年中秋前夕，當時住在士林官邸的蔣中正先生，在前往北投泡溫泉的路上，看到郭元益店門口站滿了等待買餅的客人，心想如此門庭若市的盛況到底為何？便請侍衛長前來購買，品嚐之後，不僅讓總統先生一吃即上癮，更讓宋美齡夫人回味再三，並指定為外交伴手禮。冰沙餡餅好吃的秘密在於使用珍貴的板油，使得外皮更為酥香誘人，配合老師傅的高超擀皮技藝，層皮疊酥，內餡如雪沙般鬆軟細緻的口感，造就這百年的口碑。

Absolutely amazing masks!!!

These masks are beyond amazing! I use one once a week and leave it on overnight after completing my p.m. skincare routine and wake up to smooth, plump, moisturized, and absolutely glowing!! I have extremely sensitive skin and eyes and these masks do not bother me at all. No burning in my eyes and no irritation of the skin.
