WHAT IS SOILBOOST EA?

SoilBoost EA is a concentrated humic acid soil conditioner manufactured exclusively by Chemiseed Sdn. Bhd. (Malaysia), formulated for tropical plantation crops. Derived from 100% Leonardite ore and containing 60.6% humic acid (CDFA method), it delivers active humic and fulvic molecules directly to the root zone, improving nutrient uptake efficiency, soil structure, and biological activity across oil palm, rubber, cacao, durian, and associated crops.

THE SCIENCE
A 2024 meta-analysis (Ma et al., Agronomy, MDPI) found that humic acid amendment delivers an average +12% crop yield uplift, +27% improvement in nitrogen use efficiency, and +17% increase in nitrogen uptake. A landmark meta-analysis (Rose et al., 2014) across hundreds of studies found average shoot dry weight increases of ~22% and root dry weight increases of ~21%.

HOW IT WORKS
SoilBoost EA operates through four proven biochemical pathways:

  • Nutrient chelation, forms stable, water-soluble complexes with iron, zinc, copper, and other micronutrients
  • CEC enhancement, increases the soil's cation exchange capacity, improving nutrient retention during heavy rainfall
  • Gene upregulation, activates nitrate absorption genes (NRT2.1, MHA2) in plant roots
  • Organo-mineral complexation, physically protects labile soil carbon from rapid decomposition

OPTIMAL CONDITIONS
Responses are strongest in soils with moderate pH (6-8), annual rainfall above 300 mm, and low baseline nitrogen.

APPLICATION RATES BY METHOD

  • Broadcast / pre-planting (dry): 50 to 100 kg/ha
  • Fertigation / soil drench: 10 to 15 kg/ha
  • Foliar spray: 500 to 1,000 ppm solution
  • Tree crops: 20 to 50 g per planting hole, or 100 to 200 g per mature tree annually

Best results when used in combination with established leguminous cover crops. For a site-specific rate plan, contact our agronomy team.

Important: SoilBoost EA is a soil conditioner. It is not a fungicide, pesticide, plant protection product, or standalone treatment for Fusarium TR4, Phytophthora, or any crop disease. It may support soil structure and root-zone conditions as part of a broader agronomy program, but disease management must follow local agronomist, regulatory, sanitation, drainage, and resistant-variety guidance.

MANUFACTURED AND SUPPLIED EXCLUSIVELY BY CHEMISEED SDN. BHD.
SoilBoost EA is a proprietary product of Chemiseed Sdn. Bhd., based in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. SoilBoost EA is not manufactured, distributed, or sold by any other company worldwide. Chemiseed Sdn. Bhd. is the sole manufacturer and global supplier of SoilBoost EA.

OFFICIAL EFFICACY TRIAL (FPA EUP No. 3227)

SoilBoost EA was evaluated in an independent bioefficacy trial conducted for Philippine product registration under the Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority (FPA Experimental Use Permit No. 3227, registered to Kudzu Seeds Trading, Chemiseed's sister company). The randomized complete block trial (6 treatments, 3 replications) was run by an FPA-accredited researcher at the PCA-Davao Research Center on tissue-cultured Lacatan banana seedlings, and was certified as following Good Agricultural Practices. Findings 3 months after application (all differences statistically significant at p < 0.01):

  • SoilBoost EA on its own produced taller seedlings with greater girth and more leaves than the unfertilized control.
  • The strongest growth came from combining a balanced fertilizer program with SoilBoost EA, consistent with its role as a soil conditioner that helps fertilizer work harder, not a fertilizer replacement.
  • SoilBoost EA raised soil organic matter, available phosphorus and potassium, lifted soil pH, and improved the soil's water-holding capacity (88.7% versus 80.0% in the untreated control), with soil drying out more slowly.

See the full trial, including the results table, chart and citation, on our SoilBoost EA banana field trial page (FPA EUP 3227), or the Evidence Hub. A trial summary is available on request.

Must-Have for Dog Owners (Whow have dogs that like to fetch)
Style: 2.5" Ball
Soon as this launcher arrived I went outside with the dogs to try it out. Long story short: This is a great fetch toy. I am able to launch the ball pretty far with little to no effort, and picking the ball back up is as easy as grabbing it with my own hand. The toy itself is very sturdy, so much so this is the only fetch-toy I'll ever have to buy. Considering how durable it is, I don't think I'll ever need to buy a replacement. I believe Chuck-It is the most popular option, and because this is the first fetch-toy I purchased, I can't really compare it to anything else. A few outlier reviews said the ball was difficult to launch, and I have to disagree. It has been so easy to use I can't possibly see what the problem is. And no, upper body strength is not a factor as I virtually have none. People can get great distance (Half the length of a football field by my eye) in one simple, easy motion. And if other products can launch the ball farther, so what? How far is far enough? Is your dog going to throw a fit because it went 40 meters instead of 50? No. They will not. For anyone upset this toy doesn't launch far enough, ask yourself this: Is the toy for their dog? Or the human who bought it? The bottom line is this: It feels like it's built to last, it's inexpensive, and it does what it is supposed to do. So long as a toy is "good enough" I don't see the point in splitting hairs and trying to determine which fetch toy is the absolute best. Saying it's good enough is a bit misleading though. I can't imagine how a dog toy like this could be any better. It's a must-have for any dog owner. Unfortunately, only one of my pups likes to fetch...

Works Like a Charm!
Style: 2.5" Ball
WoW!! This thing is pretty cool! It can pick the ball up off the ground - and with little effort - It can throw the ball 3X Higher and Further than I ever could! It wont hurt my elbow or wrist ( way better than before when I was wearing myself out ) I don’t know how I ever got along without it!! It's a must have if your dog loves playing ball. :-) Update: I've had this For 7 Months Now- it looks and works Great just like the day I bought it- Thumbs up!

Better Design - Better Materials - No Sticking
Style: 2.5" Ball
Been using Chuck-It launchers and plastic balls for a very long time and they were always a little sticky on giving up the ball. This makes it tricky to throw grounders with precision and can overshoot the fence in the backyard. A couple of years ago, Chuck-It changed the material to a stiffer plastic that made this problem more pronounced. I even tried custom sanding the cup to get just the right grip. The Fetch-It launcher (using the Chuck-It plastic balls) uses a three-pronged claw with soft rubbery ends that releases perfect every time. The material costs on this new one are noticeably higher while maintaining a somewhat lower price than the brand name original.

Meh
Style: 2.5" Ball
It "works" but it isn't very good. The grip is so loose on the ball, it lets go early and doesn't thrown very far. A Chuckit is so much better, I can get 3x the distance with a 25" Chuckit. This thing is kind of a waste.
