Multi-Functional Sensing Capabilities
The UniFi Protect Smart Sensor is engineered for versatility. It is equipped with a variety of detectors to provide a complete picture of your environment:
- Motion Sensor: Detects movement up to 5 meters (16 feet) away, perfect for rooms, hallways, and entry points.
- Magnetic Entry Sensor: Secure your perimeter by receiving alerts for door or window openings and closings.
- Accelerometer: Uniquely designed to sense the opening and closing of a garage door.
- Environmental Sensors: Monitors ambient temperature and humidity levels.
- Ambient Light Sensor: Keep track of the light status in any room.
- Alarm Sound Sensor: Intelligently detects the specific patterns of UL217 (smoke) and UL2034 (carbon monoxide) alarms, alerting you to potential emergencies.
- Water Leak Sensor: With an optional adapter, it can detect the presence of water, helping you prevent costly flood damage (adapter only available in the 3-pack).
