The MB1-XXG6 kit showcases a MaXX pressure plate tailored for serious enthusiasts. ACT MaXX pressure plates utilize an exclusive diaphragm design to boost clamp load, minimize deflection, and maximize clutch lifespan. All diaphragms undergo a stringent four-stage heat-treating process, ensuring exceptional performance. Precision cover stampings provide both rigidity and consistency. Featuring a 6-pad, spring-centered race disc, this kit effectively dampens torsional vibrations and resists failure even under harsh operating conditions. ACT spring retainers, equipped with wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings, offer enhanced spring support, reduced stress concentrations, and increased reliability. Engagement with the 6-pad, spring-centered race disc is aggressive, facilitating quick shifts. This disc is particularly recommended for larger clutch sizes to manage higher heat levels.
