panels. Some of the movies that were adapted are Gunga Din, Son of Frankenstein, Stagecoach,
The Man in the Iron Mask, The Oregon Trail and The Phantom Creeps. In spite of the front cover
blurb proclaiming Ò64 PAGES IN NATURAL COLORÓ, the images in Movie Comics were very early
attempts at colorizing black and white pictures for comic books, so ÒnaturalÓ is a relative term. The
source material available for this book came from fiche rather than scans and therefore the images
are not as crisp as one would hope. Movie Comics serves as a fascinating historical artifact for
comic book and film lovers alike.

Verdict: - I’ll be purchasing these again for everyday use and bulk meal prep. The value is strong, and the performance is solid when you match the pan to the job or double up as needed.
