The Libec NH10 is a premium standalone video fluid head engineered specifically for compact digital cinema setups, mirrorless camera rigs, and lightweight ENG video systems weighing up to 4.0 kg (8.8 lbs).

Serving as the functional heart of Libec's ultra-lightweight NX-100 tripod lineup, it stands out by integrating a true continuous counterbalance control into an exceptionally lightweight casting.

Core Engineering & Performance Features

1. Dual-Base Hybrid Interface

The NH10 features a hybrid base layout combining a 75mm leveling half-ball and a flat base with a 3/8"-16 threaded mounting socket directly underneath. This allows you to instantly unscrew the bowl tie-down knob and move the fluid head off your tripod legs and straight onto flat platforms like slider carriages, tabletop setups, or compact cranes without needing a separate flat-to-bowl adapter.

2. Continuous Micro-Counterbalance Tuning

Unlike traditional entry-level fluid heads that rely on coarse preset steps—which often leave a lighter camera package tilting slightly front-heavy or back-heavy—the NH10 uses a continuous internal spring counterbalance dial. This lets you precisely match your rig's exact weight across a 0.0 kg to 4.0 kg (0.0 lbs to 8.8 lbs) operating window, ensuring your camera stays completely stationary at any angle when you let go of the handle.

3. Real Fluid Drag Mechanics

The pan and tilt dampening systems use high-grade silicone grease to deliver uniform drag with zero stickiness or mechanical backlash. It features a fixed, optimized 1-stage fluid drag alongside a zero "free-movement" setting, maintaining predictable pan and tilt tracking across an extreme temperature range from negative 40 degrees Celsius to positive 60 degrees Celsius (negative 40 degrees Fahrenheit to positive 140 degrees Fahrenheit).

Operational System Tips for the NH10:

💡 The Side-Load Quick Plate Mechanics: The NH10 utilizes Libec's intuitive side-load camera plate mechanism. Instead of having to slide a camera assembly blindly from the rear, you can tilt the camera package straight down into the left side of the platform groove until it clicks. This engages a safety lock, allowing you to slide the rig forward or backward to balance before clamping it down tightly using the side lever.

  • Direct Accessory Rigging: Avoid hanging external monitors, wireless video transmitters, or audio receivers off your camera cage, as this throws off your carefully tuned fluid head balance. Instead, utilize the native 1/4"-20 threaded accessory port integrated directly into the left side of the NH10 head casting. This allows you to mount an articulating arm to hold your accessories directly on the head structure itself.

Very interesting and informative travel guide for kids!
Format: Kindle
I do not have a kid myself but got a chance to travel with my niece to Washington DC recently. I was worried about how I could keep her interest and excitement during the trip, (as you know it is not always easy to travel with the kid when you are not experienced) and I am lucky enough to have found this book. This book is like a normal travel guide but it is specially designed for kids, with a lot of fun games, interesting information, and colorful layout. It asks you to fill in information such as when did you go, where did you do, etc, which I think it can serve as a memory book for my niece and remind her the trip when she grows up. I will definitely purchase more travel guide from the same series!

Great Lesson for Age 2 and Up
This was our day care's Book of the Month, for children age 2-4 years old. They are all learning to use manners with their peers, at the table and when addressing adults. The lesson took a few readings for the children to understand the point, but once they understood what the various characters WEREN'T doing, therefore getting a negative response from Mr Panda, and what they SHOULD be doing to receive a positive response, the lesson stuck with them. If a child forgets his manners, a hint ("How would you ask Mr Panda?") has good results. This book, while a good story to read aloud, may need some additional explanation by the adult reader at first. Mr Panda offers his friends a treat, and who doesn't like donuts?! When each animal's response is rude or selfish, Mr Panda abruptly withdraws his offer and moves on to someone else. When the final offer is made to a friend who uses his manners, he gets ALL the donuts, because as Mr Panda remarks at the end, he doesn't like donuts anyway. I don't know if this sets up unrealistic expectations, but it's a good lesson presented in an entertaining way.
