This amulet can be sewn into a protective pouch and worn as a pendant, put in a purse or bag or hung above a door.

These are considered very powerful items and should be used respectfully. These amulets should not be unstrung and taken apart and if it is no longer wanted, it should be burned in a clean fire or buried in a very secluded place.
