Originally released in 2013; 2018 repress. Rauelsson (Raúl Pastor Medall) is probably best known for intimate guitar and vocal based songs with releases on Hush and even an appearance on the early sonic pieces album Portland Stories compiled by Heather Woods Broderick (2009). With this in mind, Vora comes as a surprise in a grandeur way with it's mixture of everything from piano solos, orchestrated classical music, synth buildups, and even a shoegaze-inspired organ piece sounding like Windy & Carl performing in an empty hallway. Like a coastal dream impossible to differentiate summer for winter, Vora feels like cold winds slowly warming up. Made in the time Raúl moved from Portland, Oregon back to his native Spain, settling on the east coast, you can hear the influence of the endlessly forcing waves and empty off-season tourist cities left for the remaining few to discover in peace. Vora is a sure win for fans of Deaf Center's 2005 album Pale Ravine (MIA 035LP), Nils Frahm's more melancholic moments, or film musicians such as Philip Glass and Clint Mansell. Silver vinyl. Good, inexpensive work watch

Bought as a working watch so I don’t wreck my good watches. It’s been working just fine and holding up well while not taking very good care of it. Keeps accurate time. Glass has stayed clear. Black finish looks good and is holding up well. Seems to hold up with steady pounding.
Stop watch buttons are a bit crude and will mess up your time when your hand gets pushed back against it during hard labor. However, I have not babied this watch at all.

It’s not an ugly watch, but I did not think the watch looked as nice in person This watch lost several minutes over a few months. It is light and feels cheap. However, it was not expensive, it’s comfortable to wear and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
