Six Questions Your Great Wraps Grill Franchise Financial Model Must Answer

We built this franchise unit financial model using our own research into the fast-casual sector. Key assumptions like the $720,000 year-one revenue and the 3-month ramp-up to breakeven are pre-populated and fully editable to fit your specific territory. It's a practical tool for seeing how royalties, marketing fees, and labor costs actually hit your bottom line.

7.

What is the profitability trajectory?

This franchise unit profitability analysis shows you reaching breakeven by March 2026, just three months after launching. With a Year 1 EBITDA of $156,000 and a Year 5 target of $445,000, the trajectory is defintely strong if you maintain your 5.5% royalty structure. Speed to profit is the only metric that keeps the lights on.

Improve Unit Profitability

  • Optimize crew labor hours
  • Reduce food waste percentages
  • Upsell high-margin beverages
[dynamic_pic9]
8.

How much capital is required and how is it allocated?

To get this unit off the ground, you are looking at a total startup investment of roughly $464,000. This covers everything from the $200,000 leasehold improvements to the $70,000 in grill and cooking equipment needed for high-volume throughput. You can't start a fire without the right wood.

Major Capital Uses

  • Build-out: $200,000
  • Cooking Equipment: $70,000
  • Refrigeration: $50,000
[dynamic_pic10]
9.

What is the return on investment?

Based on the current ROI analysis, you can expect a 5-year payback period and an internal rate of return of 2.46%. While the initial years are about recouping the $464k investment, the franchise investment calculator shows a steady climb in equity value. Real returns take time and discipline.

Key Investor Metrics

  • IRR: 2.46%
  • Payback: 5 Years
  • ROE: 0.74
[dynamic_pic11]
10.

What is the break-even point?

The restaurant franchise break-even analysis tool indicates you need to hit your stride by month three to cover the $9,000 monthly rent and $1,600 in utilities. Your primary lever for hitting this is volume, specifically driving traffic for those hot-pressed wraps during the lunch rush. Three months to zero is a sprint, not a marathon.

Levers for Faster Break-Even

  • Aggressive local marketing
  • Tight inventory management
  • High-efficiency kitchen flow
[dynamic_pic12]
11.

What is the cash runway and lowest cash point?

Your lowest cash point hits in April 2026 at $804,000, which includes a healthy buffer for operating expenses during the ramp-up phase. We recommend keeping this cushion to handle any delays in catering contract starts or unexpected utility spikes. Cash is oxygen; don't run out mid-climb.

Protect Your Cash Flow

  • Phase equipment purchases
  • Negotiate rent abatement
  • Monitor weekly labor spend
[dynamic_pic13]
12.

How do Low, Medium, and High scenarios change the outcome?

In the high-growth scenario, evaluating profitability of high-traffic retail franchise locations shows EBITDA jumping from $156k to $445k as catering scales. The financial projection template for retail food units helps you see how a 10% drop in traffic impacts your ability to cover the fixed $9,000 rent. Plan for the worst, but execute for the best.

Hit the High Case

  • Secure B2B catering early
  • Maintain 9.3% food cost
  • Drive mobile app loyalty

Difficult to assemble, low quality, but looks nice
Color: Classic Cherry, Size: L:29.80" x W:13.09" x H:71.26"
It looks nice when finished, but it's a major pain to put together. I've assembled a lot of DIY furniture over the years, but this was one of the more frustrating ones, mainly because of the unnecessarily difficult way the finishing slats need to be attached. Also the frame was very unstable during assembly. This bookcase is also not exactly sturdy even when finished. It's a low-quality product in all respects, really, except the nice way it looks. Value for money? meh. Color is nice.

Excellent Customer Service. Follow instructions.
Color: Classic Cherry, Size: L:29.80" x W:13.09" x H:71.26"
I LOVE the color of this bookcase. The bookcases at the big chain store generally cost around $100, so this is about what I was expecting. It's a nicer quality with thicker shelves than the big chain store bookshelves and I really wanted the cherry color, which, on this bookcase, is gorgeous. It was a bit difficult to assemble only because I asked for help from a male friend who insisted that we skip through the directions. We ended up getting a screw caught between two beams because he didn't want to sort out the screws like I ALWAYS do before assembling any furniture. Note: just breathe, relax and take your time and follow the directions, and if you ask for help from someone, give them a sedative, like a big dose of kava or something because it's going to take several hours. Once it's finished, though, it's really lovely. I filled it with books and so far, it's been fine. It is particle board with a finish, so if you scratch it, it's going to show. But, it comes with a brown color-coordinated marker so you can cover up minor scratches or flaws in the finish. I was a little surprised that the top of the bookcase is unfinished, but maybe a lot of bookcases are not nowadays. I wouldn't put it in a location where the top of it shows - like next to a staircase. The backboard is cardboard folded in half with the same cherry finish, which for me really wasn't an issue because I always fill my bookcases completely with books so the back doesn't really show. There are weight restrictions for each shelf, so make sure you pay attention to those - some shelves hold more weight than others. I plan to assemble the second one by myself now that I understand what's involved. I have to give five stars because customer service was so amazing. I didn't open the second bookcase for a long time, but despite the time that had passed, they still replaced a damaged beam very quickly, and even reshipped the beam a second time because I had given the wrong address. That was really amazing! Never had such a good experience with customer service before.

Great socks!
These are great low cut socks with padding in appropriate places. The shape keeps them from sliding down in my tennis shoes. I just wish more than three pair came in the pack.
