This lovely solid wood Floral Milk Painted Hanging Plaque, created in our workshop in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, is perfect for using in all sorts of ways. It would make a colourful kitchen addition for hanging up tea towels, as a hanger for shabby chic hearts and decorations, a place to hang up lightweight silky scarves, necklaces, dog leads, gardening gloves...the list goes on!

We've hand painted the plaque with Sweet Pickins Milk Paint in a stunningly rich burgundy colour called Cherry Pie. If you zoom into our photos you can see all of the crackles in the paint which we have dark and white waxed here and there to add age.

We've added a gorgeous cream rose posy transfer to the plaque - it's from Iron Orchid Designs 'By Any Other Name Transfer' and have attached a white ceramic knob.

There is a hanging bar on the back of the plaque. 

The Floral Milk Painted Hanging Plaque measures 23cm x 14.5cm w x 1.5cm.

This is a brand new item that we have decorated. Please note that the back of the plaque is unpainted but has been clear waxed.
