ScanPan CTX Nonstick Skillets
Skillets and frying pans are ideal for searing meat as the searing helps retain moisture and locks in flavour, and they are also great for tenderizing - and obviously frying.
The CTX line of Scanpan products feature a unique ceramic titanium nonstick cooking surface. This patented cooking surface is PFOA-free and does not require any fats or oils when cooking, and its five multi-layer construction enables even heat distribution without creating hot spots. CTX products are also suitable to use on all cook tops, including induction.
Scanpan is a Danish company that has been one of the world's leading producers of PFOA-free nonstick products for over three decades and were actually the first to introduce truly PFOA-free nonstick products throughout the entire manufacturing process. All their pans are made in Denmark.
The difference between a Skillet and a Pan, and the confusion of a Saute Pan!
There isn't any real practical difference between a pan and a skillet as you can braise, roast, fry, sear or grill in both. The very slight differences are:
- A skillet is slightly deeper than a pan to better braise sauces and it generally comes in cast iron, while a pan generally comes in stainless steel, aluminum or a combination of both, and it generally has a lid (except this skillet!)
- A saute pan looks like a skillet as it has a lid but it is deeper than a skillet, has a larger cooking surface, and its sides are straight instead of curved.

Drama Free For Sure!

She focuses on taking your relationships seriously and teaches the art of having tough but intentional conversations to create positive change. OR you’ll learn how to sever ties when the relationship is unmanageable.
None is more influential than the formative years we’ve had with our family of origin. A lot of people lament that not everything is about the family, but yup, so often it’s true. In childhood, most likely we weren’t allowed to be ourselves, so our true selves started to develop when becoming an adult. Like a butterfly using its colossal strength to break out of its chrysalis, we too must use our emotional colossal strength to break out of our childhood mold in order to fly. We are able to have relationships with family on our terms.

Insightful and Compassionate.
Format: Hardcover
I really love Nedra Glover Tawwab's work. I started with "Set Boundaries, Find Peace" and that opened the gateway to a broader and more helpful healing journey for me. This book, "Drama Fee" was just an evolutionary step in her series and a more in depth dealing with family relationships. The different perspectives for each chapter on how the concept can be applied was/is helpful as it often feels like books of this nature are only telling the black or white way to focus on a relationship. I felt seen and heard that though my familial relationships are unique there are commonalities and in turn ways to approach healing, reconciliation (with oneself and with family), understanding and compassion, to a achieve drama free relationships. As humans we are bread for connection and I appreciate Nedra Glover Tawwab's help in navigating them.

Read. This. Book.
Format: Kindle
Read this book if you have a dysfunctional family or relationship with family members (including in-laws and extended family). Read this book if you think you don’t.
Nedra outlines several different types of familial relationships and how challenging it can be to work through dysfunction or things we have considered normal that are not. Nedra also provides wisdom and tools on how to overcome the many challenges that occur in relationships with family members with gentleness, understanding and realistic observations and advice.
Please keep in mind that there will likely be much to unpack from both your childhood and adulthood. It can be an incredibly emotional process in which you might need to take breaks and pauses. However, it is a worthwhile endeavor that will allow you a new, healthier perspective on your relationships with others, and it will cause you to re-evaluate yourself and how you interact with others. This is necessary wisdom for cultivating peace and harmony in your life.
I wish fellow readers an eye-opening and heartfelt journey. Be kind and gracious to yourself during this experience and best wishes in creating and living your most authentic life.
